WHAT TO EXPECT

TRIP EXPECTATIONS AND WHAT TO BRING

Super Finn is an open boat built for fishing and safety, however being an open boat, there is no cabin and no “official” head, but we can accommodate for privacy when “nature calls.”  Expect to exposed to the elements, but the extra large t-top provides adequate protection from the sun and rain.  Cold drinks, bait and tackle are provided.  If you choose to bring your own tackle, please feel free.

We primarily fish with the lightest tackle possible for the species we are targeting to keep the fun in the sport.  We promote catch and release fishing, however, saving a few for the table is never a problem and we will fillet your catch for you.

We encourage you to bring snack and/or a meal.  Beer and wine is acceptable, but only in moderation and is best saved for the ride back to the dock.  Hard alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed on board.

WHAT TO BRING – Pack only the essentials as space is limited on an open boat.

  • Foul weather gear
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera/GoPro
  • Non-marking deck shoes/boots
  • Adequate food and drink for the duration of your trip
  • Dress accordingly as the mornings and evenings can get chilly even in the heat of the summer
  • If you are bringing a child under 12 years old and have a comfortable life jacket, please bring what they are comfortable in.  We do have life jackets to accommodate all our young anglers and those under 12 will be required to wear their PFD during the trip.
